Barcamp Tampa ended today.  This is my second time at this barcamp and it was obviously run by pros like last time.  This was a 2 day event.  Other barcamps I have been to have been 1 day events.  Day 1 was media day and day 2 was dev day.

I arrived a little before 9 am and had no trouble getting registered.  Got my t-shirt.  That's what it is all about isn't it?  I went to the desk to register my talk.  I always talk about something when I go to barcamp.  I find I get the most out of it that way.  I did a talk on email marketing for beginners. At this event, I gave the title of my presentation to the person at the desk and they wrote it down and assigned it a slot for me.  All other barcamps I went to you wrote your own.  I guess it made for less congestion.  I wanted an afternoon slot which I got no problem.

There was a video guy at this event.  They were going to video every presentation for use in other barcamps.  If you were a presenter, you could buy the video later on.  I signed the waiver form to allow them to reuse the presentation.

I took some photos which I always try to do at these events.  I try to capture all the sights.  It's like capturing small pieces of history.
